Overview

This is a project by Aishwarya Rajkumr; a film and animation enthusiast interested in computing and technology.Through play, experimentation, and exploration with P5.js this initiative helps animation students and enthusiasts—especially in a field that is rapidly evolving with new technologies—engage with computing in ways that are creatively driven and artistically meaningful. On this website you can access the curriculum, and learn more about the project below

Intention

To demystify the technical foundation behind animation through an accessible curriculum. By simplifying complex ideas, the course aims to encourage students to truly understand what lies behind their creative workflows.

Method

Unfolds through a series of workshops/ one-to-one tutorials. Topics were carefully selected and ordered to progress logically from simple concepts to more advanced ones. Lessons are supported with access to the material, and lesson take-ways, for which students produce thir response to what was taught in class

Progress

The project is currently finished with its first student testing and is now in the stage of improving the lessons iteratively after lesson feedback. Future steps include having bigger workshops, and lengthening the curriculum. There is a public repository for students to add their responses and work to the class material.
